151st Reunion, Henry Flipper Reenactment Taping

Kansas City Public Library Director Crosby Kemper III interviews Henry Ossian Flipper, the first African-American West Point graduate, as portrayed by Damron Russel Armstrong, executive artistic director of the Black Repertory Theatre of Kansas City. Born into slavery, Flipper rose to take charge of the 10th Cavalry Regiment, known as the Buffalo Soldiers.
